The section called ‘Complaints resolution system’ has been removed from the law. It used to be part of the Electricity Act 1992, but it’s not there anymore. The government took it out on 1 November 2010. They did this when they made changes to the electricity laws in New Zealand. If you want to know more about why they removed it, you could look at the Electricity Industry Act 2010, which is the law that made this change.
