Electricity Act 1992

Electrical codes of practice

39: Availability of codes

You could also call this:

“WorkSafe makes sure everyone can see or buy the electrical safety rules”

WorkSafe makes sure that you can easily access all the current electrical codes of practice and any changes to these codes. You can look at these codes for free, or you can buy them for a fair price.

When a new code or a change to a code is approved, WorkSafe puts a notice in the Gazette. This notice tells you where you can go to see the code or the changes for free, and where you can buy a copy if you want one.
