“Telling WorkSafe about new electrical projects”

You need to give information to WorkSafe if you build any electrical works or installations. The law says you must provide specific details about what you’ve built. You’ll need to use a special form and send it at a certain time. The exact details you need to give and when you need to give them are set out in other rules. These rules are made under section 169 of the Electricity Act 1992.
