Electricity Act 1992

General - Functions and powers of WorkSafe and Secretary

10: Effect of notice or requirement pending hearing

You could also call this:

“Notices or requirements are paused if you object, with some exceptions”

If you object to a notice or requirement, it will be put on hold. This means the notice or requirement won’t be in effect while your objection is being looked at. The hold lasts until the District Court makes a decision about it, or until someone withdraws the objection or the notice. However, there are some exceptions to this rule, which are explained in section 13 of this law.
