160: False declarations and representations

You could also call this:

“Telling lies or giving wrong information to get registered is not allowed”

If you want to get registered, licensed, or certified under this law, you must be honest. It’s against the law to lie or mislead people about important information. This applies whether you’re doing it for yourself or for someone else.

You can’t say things that aren’t true, whether you’re speaking or writing. You also can’t give any fake or misleading documents to the Registrar, the Board, or the Plumbers, Gasfitters, and Drainlayers Board. Using documents that you know are fake or contain false information is also not allowed.

If you break this law, you might have to pay a fine of up to $10,000. Remember, it’s important to always tell the truth when you’re dealing with official matters like this.
