163B: Offence to breach requirement to have safety management system

You could also call this:

“Breaking the law by not having a safety system if you make or supply electricity”

If you are an electricity generator or distributor, you must have a safety management system. This is required by section 61A of the law. If you don’t have this system, you are breaking the law. This is a serious offence. If you are found guilty, you could be fined up to $250,000. The law treats this as a very important safety requirement.
