172J: Supplementary empowering provision for regulations and rules

“Extra rules for making electricity laws are no longer used”
This law, called ‘Supplementary empowering provision for regulations and rules’, was part of the Electricity Act 1992. However, it’s no longer in effect. The government removed this section on 1 November 2010. They did this through another law called the Electricity Industry Act 2010. This means you don’t need to worry about what this law used to say, because it doesn’t apply anymore.
