Electricity Act 1992

Powers and duties of electricity operators and other owners of electrical works

27: Appeals in relation to conditions imposed

You could also call this:

“You can challenge rules set for your electricity work if you think they're unfair”

If you’re an electricity operator and you don’t agree with the conditions set for your work, you can appeal to the District Court. These conditions might be set by the local authority, the people in charge of the road, or the owner of pipes, telecommunications lines, or other works in the area.

You have 40 working days after you’re told about the conditions to make your appeal. If you need more time, you can ask the court for an extension. You can do this before or after the 40 days are up.
