If you are a registered person, you can get a practising licence for the type of work you are registered to do. To get this licence, you need to do a few things:

You must fill out the application form correctly. The Board will check that you have done this.

You need to meet the current standards for your job. These standards make sure you know how to do your work safely and properly.

The Board must not have stopped you from getting a licence because of something you did wrong in the past.

You need to be a good person who can be trusted to do the job well.

You must pay the fee for the licence if there is one.

If you do all these things, the Board will give you your practising licence.
