Registration and licensing of electrical workers and employer licences - Electrical worker registration and licensing - How to become licensed

101: Board to consider application

You could also call this:

“The Board must review your application quickly and fairly”

When you apply for a practising licence, the Board must look at your application as soon as they can after they get it.

When the Board looks at your application, they need to do a few things:

If you’ve had your registration or practising licence taken away before, the Board will think about why that happened.

The Board must be fair when they look at your application. This means they have to tell you if there’s anything that might make them say no to your application. They also have to give you a chance to explain your side of things before they make a decision.
