172KD: Limits on investigation powers

This section of the law, called ‘Limits on investigation powers’, used to be part of the Electricity Act 1992. However, it has been removed from the law. The government decided to take it out on 1 November 2010. They did this through another law called the Electricity Industry Act 2010. This means that these limits on investigation powers no longer apply.
