Electricity Act 1992

Appeals

147ZG: Decision to continue in force pending appeal

You could also call this:

“Board's decision stays active during an appeal unless a court says otherwise”

When the Electrical Workers Registration Board makes a decision, gives a direction, or makes an order, and someone appeals against it, the Board’s decision stays in effect while the appeal is being decided. This means you need to follow what the Board has said, even if you’re appealing against it. However, a court can change this if they decide to make a different order. The court’s order would then take priority over the Board’s decision.
