169D: Legal effect of electricity safety instruments

You could also call this:

“Electricity safety guides become official rules when mentioned in regulations”

Electricity safety instruments are special documents that explain how to use electricity safely. These documents only have legal power when other rules, called regulations, mention them. This means that the safety instructions in these documents become official rules that you need to follow.

The regulations can talk about specific safety documents, even if those documents change over time. They can also mention safety documents that haven’t been created yet, but might be made in the future to help explain the regulations.

This way, the government can make sure that the most up-to-date safety information is always part of the official rules, even if the specific safety documents change or new ones are created.
