Some parts of the Search and Surveillance Act 2012 do not apply to goods that have been forfeited to the Crown. These parts are sections 125(4), 131(5)(f), and 133, and some other subparts. 224Examination of goods no longer subject to control of Customs

  1. Section 152 is amended by inserting the following subsections after subsection (3):

  2. The provisions of Part 4 of the Search and Surveillance Act 2012 (except subpart 3) apply in respect of the powers conferred by this section.

  3. Despite subsection (3A), sections 125(4), 131(5)(f), and 133, and subparts 6 and 8 of Part 4 of the Search and Surveillance Act 2012 do not apply to any goods forfeited to the Crown under section 225 of this Act.
