General provisions in relation to search, surveillance, and inspection powers - Search warrants - Issuing of search warrant

106: When search warrant executed

You could also call this:

"How to know when a police search is finished"

When a search warrant is being executed, you need to know it is finished when the person doing the search and anyone helping them have either taken all the things listed in the warrant, or they have left the place, vehicle, or thing being searched and do not come back within 4 hours. The search is also complete if they have done one of these two things. You can think of it like a task that is finished when one of these conditions is met.
