284Amendments to Motor Vehicle Sales Act 2003
This section amends the Motor Vehicle Sales Act 2003.
Section 130(1) is amended by omitting District Court Judge, Community Magistrate, Justice of the Peace, or Registrar of a District Court may issue a search warrant for any place if satisfied, on application in writing made on oath, and substituting issuing officer (within the meaning of section 3 of the Search and Surveillance Act 2012) may issue a search warrant for any place if satisfied, on application made in the manner provided in subpart 3 of Part 4 of the Search and Surveillance Act 2012,.
Section 130 is amended by repealing subsection (2) and substituting the following subsections:
The provisions of Part 4 of the Search and Surveillance Act 2012 apply.
Despite subsection (2), sections 118 and 119 of the Search and Surveillance Act 2012 apply only in respect of a constable.
Sections 131 to 140 are repealed.
