259Amendment to Immigration Act 2009

  1. This section amends the Immigration Act 2009.

  2. The following section is inserted after section 293:

    293AImmigration officer may apply for search warrant

    1. An immigration officer may, in carrying out the immigration officer’s functions under this Act, apply for a search warrant under section 198 of the Summary Proceedings Act 1957.
