This law changes the Fair Trading Act 1986. You can find the Fair Trading Act 1986 on the New Zealand legislation website. It updates some rules to match the Search and Surveillance Act 2012. The law updates who can do certain jobs, like an issuing officer. It also changes how some applications are made, to match the Search and Surveillance Act 2012. You can find more information about this on the New Zealand legislation website. Some parts of the law are removed and replaced with new rules. These new rules say that some parts of the Search and Surveillance Act 2012 apply. Other parts of the law, like sections 47A to 47E, are removed completely.
