"Asking a Judge for permission to search for weapons in places and vehicles"

If a gang conflict is happening, a police officer can ask a Judge for a special permission called a warrant. This warrant allows the police to search certain areas, including places and vehicles, to find weapons. The police can then take any weapons they find in these places or vehicles.
