You are looking at changes to the Pork Industry Board Act 1997. This section makes some changes to the Act. It updates some parts of the Act to match the Search and Surveillance Act 2012. You can find the Pork Industry Board Act 1997 on the New Zealand legislation website. Some parts of the Search and Surveillance Act 2012 now apply to the Pork Industry Board Act 1997. This includes rules about searching and surveillance. Some words in the Pork Industry Board Act 1997 are being replaced with new words. For example, 'A District Court Judge or a court Registrar' is being replaced with 'An issuing officer'. An issuing officer is someone who can issue a search warrant, and they must follow the rules in the Search and Surveillance Act 2012. Some parts of the Pork Industry Board Act 1997 are being removed. This includes sections 46 and 47, and Schedule 3. These parts are no longer needed because the Search and Surveillance Act 2012 now applies.
