311Amendments to Anti-Personnel Mines Prohibition Act 1998

  1. This section amends the Anti-Personnel Mines Prohibition Act 1998.

Section 22(1) is amended by omitting A District Court Judge, Justice, Community Magistrate, or Registrar (not being a member of the police), who, on an application, and substituting An issuing officer (within the meaning of section 3 of the Search and Surveillance Act 2012) who, on an application made in the manner provided in subpart 3 of Part 4 of the Search and Surveillance Act 2012,.

  3. Section 22(2) is amended by repealing paragraph (b).

  4. Section 22 is amended by repealing subsection (4) and substituting the following subsection:

  5. The provisions of subparts 1, 3, 4, 7, 9, and 10 of Part 4 of the Search and Surveillance Act 2012 apply.
