152Copies of things seized or produced

  1. If a photograph or a copy of a seized or produced thing will be adequate for investigative or evidential purposes, the person who exercised the search power, or that person's employer or another person acting on behalf of that person, may, at his or her discretion, return the thing to the owner or to a person entitled to possession.
