When a review is finished, the Commissioner must give you written notice of the decision. You will also get an updated version of the preservation direction if it is changed. The preservation direction stays in force until you are told about the decision. The preservation direction stays in force until you are notified, but this does not change how long it lasts under section 79I. If the decision is to keep the original direction or change it, the time it stays in force does not get shorter. But if the direction is ended sooner under section 79I(2), it does not stay in force longer. You get to know what the reviewer decided as soon as possible after the review is completed.
