283: Amendments to Part 4 of Meat Board Act 2004

You could also call this:

"Changes to the Meat Board Act 2004 to update search warrant rules"

The law is changing some parts of the Meat Board Act 2004. You will see changes to section 62(1) and section 62(2) about who can issue a search warrant. An issuing officer, as defined in section 3 of the Search and Surveillance Act 2012, can now do this.

Some parts of the law are being removed, like subsections (3) and (4) of section 62. New subsections are being added, which say that Part 4 of the Search and Surveillance Act 2012 applies. However, sections 118 and 119 of the Search and Surveillance Act 2012 only apply in certain situations.

Other parts of the law, like sections 63 and 64, and Schedule 3, are being removed completely.
