Search and Surveillance Act 2012

General provisions in relation to search, surveillance, and inspection powers - Offences

178: Offence of failing to carry out obligations in relation to computer system search

You could also call this:

"Not helping with a computer search when asked can get you in trouble"

If you do not help someone who is searching a computer system when they ask you to, you can get in trouble. You must have a good reason for not helping them, or you might be convicted and go to prison for up to 3 months. This is because you are required to assist under section 130(1) when someone with a search power asks for your help.
