You can get a search warrant if an issuing officer is satisfied with your application. The issuing officer is someone who has the power to issue warrants under the Search and Surveillance Act 2012. You must make your application in the way set out in the Search and Surveillance Act 2012. You can get a warrant to search for things like products made or imported against the law. The Search and Surveillance Act 2012 has rules about how search warrants work. These rules apply when you get a warrant, except in some special cases. Some parts of the Search and Surveillance Act 2012 only apply to police officers. You can read more about the rules for search warrants in the Search and Surveillance Act 2012. The rules for search warrants are set out in Part 4 of the Search and Surveillance Act 2012.
