Illustration for Fisheries Act 1996

If the chief executive revokes your international fishing permit under section 113N, your permit is cancelled immediately. You must give the permit and any copies to the chief executive straight away. The chief executive can also suspend your permit under section 113N. If this happens, you cannot use the permit to fish or transport fish for a certain period, which is decided by the chief executive under section 113O(b). You still have to follow the rules and conditions of your permit. If your permit is revoked, you will not get a refund for any fees you have paid.
