This Part of the law applies to you if you have a dispute about how fishing affects your fishing activities. It only applies to fishing, not fish farming, and you must have a current fishing interest allowed by the Fisheries Act 1996. This Part does not apply to disputes about making sure fishing is sustainable or about the effects of fishing allowed under Part 9. You should look at what is covered and what is not covered to understand how this Part applies to you.
