Registration procedure
160Provisions relating to defective applications for registration
If—
- any document relating to a transaction lodged for registration; or
- any document presented for registration together with any other documents—
Before returning any documents in accordance with subsection (1),—
- the chief executive shall make a copy of every document returned; and
- shall file the copy in the chief executive's office.
If any documents are returned as provided in subsection (1), those documents shall be deemed not to have been presented for registration but the fee (if any) paid to the chief executive in respect of them shall be forfeit.
