When someone wants to propose a new Taiapure-local fishery, you will see a notice about it in the newspapers. The notice will be published at least twice, with a gap of at least 7 days between each publication, in the main city newspapers and in a local newspaper. You can also find a copy of the proposal in several offices, including the Maori Land Court, the Ministry's head office, the local council office, and the regional council office.
