"Law keeps aviation security officers safe from being sued for doing their job properly"

Aviation security officers are protected from personal liability when they carry out their duties. This protection applies when they act in good faith and perform their duties according to the law. Specifically, this protection covers actions taken under sections 80B(3) to (7) and 80C(3) to (6) of the Civil Aviation Act. These sections outline the powers and responsibilities of aviation security officers. As long as the officers follow the rules and act with good intentions, they won't be held personally responsible for their actions while doing their job.
