Civil Aviation Act 1990

International carriage by air - Transitional provisions

91T: Regulations

You could also call this:

"Rules about flying and airlines that the Governor-General can make"

The Governor-General can make rules about airlines and flying. These rules can do a few things:

You can get money from airlines if something goes wrong on a flight. The Governor-General can decide how much money you get and how you get it.

There's a document called the Montreal Convention that talks about flying rules. The Governor-General can update this document to make sure it's correct.

The Governor-General can also make other rules to help with flying and to make sure everything works well.

When the Governor-General makes these rules, they become a special kind of law. You can find these laws in a place where all the country's laws are kept.
