Aviation security

81: Functions and duties of other aviation security service providers

You could also call this:

"What other airport security workers can and can't do"

If you're not part of the Aviation Security Service but still provide aviation security services, you'll have specific jobs and responsibilities. These jobs and duties will be set out in rules made under this law.

If you work for one of these other aviation security service providers, your employer can choose some workers to be aviation security officers. If you're picked as an aviation security officer, you'll have special powers at the airport or navigation installation where you work. You'll be able to do most of the things that other aviation security officers can do, but you won't be allowed to arrest or detain people.
