Civil Aviation Act 1990

Fees and charges

39: Rebates

You could also call this:

"The Director of Civil Aviation can give discounts on fees for aviation services"

You might have to pay fees or charges for some aviation services. The person or group who collects these fees can give you a discount, which is called a rebate. This rebate isn't just for you though - it has to be fair for everyone.

If you use a lot of aviation services, you might get a bigger rebate. The rebate is based on how much you use these services. If someone else uses about the same amount of services as you, they should get the same percentage of rebate as you do.

The rules for these rebates are written down in special regulations. The person giving the rebate has to follow these rules when they decide how much of a discount to give you.
