Civil Aviation Act 1990

International air services licensing - Requirements on licensees

87ZA: Insurance cover against liability

You could also call this:

"You might need to show proof of insurance to get or keep your licence"

You need to know that the Minister or Secretary can ask for proof of insurance before they give or renew a licence, or at any time while the licence is active. This insurance should cover the licence holder if someone dies or gets hurt, or if property is lost or damaged because of the service they provide. The Minister or Secretary needs to be satisfied that this insurance is in place.
