  6. Reports of accidents and incidents
  7. Airworthiness instructions from the Director

  9. Contact details for people who have or want aviation documents
  10. Published aviation information
  11. The current service charter
  12. The Authority’s plans for the future

You can look at these documents for free. The Authority will show them to you following the Official Information Act 1982. However, they must also follow the Privacy Act 2020 when sharing information.

Part 7 Registries and information services

74Civil Aviation Registry

  1. The Authority shall establish a Civil Aviation Registry.

  2. Copies or appropriate evidence of the following shall be recorded and maintained at the Registry:

  3. every current aviation document:
    1. every Australian AOC with ANZA privileges:
      1. the New Zealand Register of Aircraft:
        1. every regulation made under this Act, and every rule notified in the Gazette and for the time being in force:
          1. any material incorporated into a rule by reference under section 36:
            1. every accident and incident notification given under section 26:
              1. every airworthiness directive issued by the Director under section 72I(3A):
                1. every delegation, authorisation, and exemption granted in writing under this Act:
                  1. the address for service of every current applicant for an aviation document and of every current aviation document holder:
                    1. all information published under section 75:
                      1. the current service charter:
                        1. the current statement of intent under section 139 of the Crown Entities Act 2004.
                          1. Documents kept at the Registry shall be made available by the Authority, in accordance with the provisions of the Official Information Act 1982, for inspection by the public free of charge.

                          2. Subsection (3) is subject to the Privacy Act 2020.
