77I: Offence to fail to comply with Director's requirement to withdraw or revoke authorisation

You could also call this:

“You must follow the Director's order to take back or cancel an approval, or you could be punished”

If you are asked by the Director to take back an approval you gave someone, or to cancel an approval, you must do it. If you don’t do it, and you don’t have a good reason why not, you are breaking the law. This is called an offence.

If you commit this offence, you might have to go to court. If the court finds you guilty, you could be fined up to $10,000.

The Director can ask you to take back an approval under section 77F(7)(e), or to cancel an approval under section 77G(4)(b). These are parts of the law that explain when and how the Director can make these requests.
