Civil Aviation Act 1990

Civil Aviation Authority of New Zealand

72K: Powers of Director in relation to examinations, etc

You could also call this:

"The Director can test and check if you can get or keep your flying papers"

The Director of the Civil Aviation Authority of New Zealand has special powers related to aviation documents. When you need to get a new aviation document or renew an old one, the Director can do several things. They can create and run exams and tests for you. They can also do flight testing. This means they might watch and assess how you fly. The Director can do anything else needed to make sure these exams, tests, and flight assessments work properly. They do all of this to help decide if you should get or keep your aviation document.
