“Changes to rules about flying: removing old rules and updating others”
This part of the law talks about changes to other laws and rules. It’s like updating a big book of rules.
The law says that some old rules listed in Schedule 1 are no longer used. They’re taken out of the big book of rules.
There were also some special rules about investigating accidents in flying. These rules are no longer used either.
The law then says that some other rules, listed in Schedule 2, are being changed. The changes are explained in that schedule.
Lastly, the law says that even though some old rules are being removed, one specific change made by another law in 1976 still stays in effect. This means that not everything from the old rules is completely gone.
