27E: Expiry of medical certificate

You could also call this:

"How to get extra time on your pilot health check"

If you have a medical certificate and it's about to expire, you can ask the Director for more time. The Director might give you up to 60 extra days from when your current certificate was supposed to end. When the Director does this, they might add some new rules or limits to your certificate. They can do this if they think it's necessary. Remember, you need to ask for this extra time before your current certificate runs out.
