Civil Aviation Act 1990

Functions, powers, and duties of participants in the civil aviation system

20: Power of Director to amend or revoke aviation document in other cases

You could also call this:

"Director can change or cancel aviation documents if needed"

The Director can change or cancel an aviation document if you ask them to in writing. They can do this in the way you request.

The Director can also make changes to your aviation document for other reasons. They can change it if you're not using or can't use the privileges or duties that the document gives you. If you're not using any of the privileges or duties at all, the Director can cancel the document. They can also fix any small mistakes or errors on the document.

Before the Director makes these changes, they will tell you in writing what they plan to do. You'll get a chance to share your thoughts about it.

When the Director changes an aviation document, they can cancel the old one and give you a new one instead. They can also add reasonable conditions to the document.

If the Director tells you they're planning to make changes to your aviation document, you need to give the document to the Director right away.
