69OG: Subpart prevails over agreement
or “ The rules in this part of the law are stronger than any other agreements people might make. ”

You could also call this:

“This part of the law aims to protect workers when their job changes to a new company by making sure their old boss talks to the new one about keeping them employed.”

This part of the law aims to protect you if your job is affected by changes in your workplace that the first part of the law doesn’t cover. If someone else takes over the work you do, this law makes sure your job contract includes rules about talks between your current boss and the new person or company. These talks are about moving you to work for the new person or company. This helps keep you safe if big changes happen at work.
