50G: Proposals made or positions reached during facilitation
or “Ideas shared during talks don't have to be followed after the talks end, unless everyone agrees to keep them.”

You could also call this:

“The Authority can suggest ways to help people agree on work rules, but everyone still gets to choose what they want to do.”

When the Authority is helping you and other parties negotiate a collective agreement, they can make suggestions. These suggestions can be about how you should work together to reach an agreement, what should be in the agreement, or both.

The Authority might decide to tell the public about their suggestions. They can do this in any way they choose.

You don’t have to do what the Authority suggests, but you should think about their suggestions carefully before you decide whether to follow them or not.
