General provisions - Demand notices

227: Withdrawal of demand notice

You could also call this:

“A Labour Inspector can cancel a demand notice, but they can still give a new one for the same issue.”

A Labour Inspector can take back a demand notice whenever they want. This is called withdrawing the demand notice. Even if they take it back, they can still give another demand notice about the same thing later if they need to.
