You could also call this:

“The boss of the workplace helps everyone understand and follow the rules about jobs”

The chief executive has several important jobs under this Act. You need to know that they are responsible for making sure the Act works well. They do this by giving information and advice about work relationships. This includes telling employees, employers, and others about their rights and responsibilities.

The chief executive also helps solve problems at work. They provide services to help resolve disputes between workers and bosses. They share information by publishing reports and guidelines about work relationships. Sometimes, they even publish comments about specific work situations.

Another big part of their job is to have a plan. This plan is about making sure people follow the rules in this Act and other related laws. They also need to enforce these rules when necessary.

Lastly, the chief executive has other duties given to them by this Act and other laws mentioned in section 223(1). These are additional responsibilities they must take care of.
