81: Complaints to Secretary

You could also call this:

"How to complain about gambling and what happens next"

If you make a complaint to the Secretary about the conduct of class 4 gambling at a venue or by a licence holder, the Secretary will investigate it. The Secretary must tell you, if possible, what action they will take about your complaint and what that action is. You can then complain to the Gambling Commission if you are not happy with how the Secretary handled your complaint.

The Gambling Commission will ask the Secretary to explain how they handled your complaint. They will look at what the Secretary says and decide if the Secretary did the right thing. If the Gambling Commission thinks the Secretary did not handle your complaint correctly, they will tell the Minister about it.

The Gambling Commission will tell you and the Secretary what they think about how your complaint was handled, and they will also tell you if they are going to report anything to the Minister.
