If you appeal a decision about a class 4 venue licence, the conditions of the licence stay the same until the appeal is decided, if you are appealing an amendment or revocation of a condition or the addition of a new condition under section 77(1)(b). You can keep using the licence until a certain time. This time is either when the time to appeal runs out under section 77(2), or when the Gambling Commission specifies a date under section 77(5), if you are appealing a refusal to renew or amend the licence under section 77(1)(c) or (d), or a decision to suspend or cancel the licence under section 77(1)(e).
