Illustration for Gambling Act 2003

If you have a class 4 venue licence, you must display certain information at your venue. You need to show the start and end dates of your licence, and your contact details. If you give most of your gambling money to the community, you must also display information on how to apply for a grant, and who to contact if you have a complaint about how the money is being distributed. You must also say that your staff cannot decide who gets the grants. You have to tell people that they can complain to the Secretary about any problems with gambling at your venue. You must display this information in a place where people can easily see it, like near the gaming machines or at the entrance. If you do not display this information, you can get a fine of up to $5,000.
