The Governor-General can make rules for things like what happens when someone breaks the rules of a game or a regulation. You might get an infringement notice if you break a rule, and the notice will tell you how much you have to pay. The amount you have to pay can be up to $5,000 if you have a licence, or up to $2,500 if you are an individual. The Governor-General can also decide what the infringement notices should look like. You can learn more about how these rules are published by looking at Part 3 of the Legislation Act 2019.
