Licensing of class 4 gambling: Other matters
83Obligation on disposal of gaming machines
The holder or former holder of a class 4 operator’s licence must provide the following information to the Secretary within 20 working days of disposing of a gaming machine:
- the manufacturer, model, and serial number of the gaming machine and any other details necessary to identify the gaming machine with ease; and
- the means of disposal; and
- if relevant, the name of the acquirer of the gaming machine and the details necessary to contact the acquirer with ease.
The holder or former holder of a class 4 operator’s licence who contravenes this section commits an offence and is liable on
conviction to a fine not exceeding $5,000.
