Illustration for Gambling Act 2003

If you have a class 4 operator's licence and you get rid of a gaming machine, you must tell the Secretary some information within 20 working days. You need to say what kind of machine it is, including the manufacturer, model, and serial number, and how you got rid of it. You also need to say who you sold it to, if that is what you did, and how to contact them. If you do not do this, you can get in trouble and have to pay a fine of up to $5,000. You can find more information about the rules that were changed to make this law by looking at the Gambling Amendment Act 2015 and the Criminal Procedure Act 2011.
